Basingstoke Rifle Club has a vibrant LSR community, which participates in a variety of club-level and national competitions in this comparatively new discipline.

Members wishing to take part in LSR must agree to undertake the safe user certification process with a qualified instructor, regardless of their previous experience, ability or qualifications.

LSR competition formats are quite varied, for example:

• Firing positions are generally Standing and Kneeling.
• Competitions can be un-timed, timed or automatically exposed using our McQueen turning target system.
